The old saying that two heads are better than one proves to be true time and time again. That’s why we always see so many new partnerships popping up. Partnerships allow companies to share their ideas and gain access to different products, making them beneficial for both the companies involved and the customers. The latest partnership in the news is between Konftel and Huawei, and is going to directly influence conferencing.

Huawei is a global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, and Konftel is a provider and manufacturer of phone conferencing solutions and conferencing phones. Needless to say, Konftel is a bit of an expert in the conferencing field, and it is bringing that knowledge, along with its products, to the partnership. Now that the two companies have joined forces, Konftel’s products will be able to complement and enhance Huawei’s portfolio of product offerings for the business market.

So far, the Konftel 300IP conference phone has been certified with the Huawei Cloud UC solution. Thanks to this interoperability, the Konftel 300IP can be connected directly to Huawei’s conference bridge, which can hold up to 20 participants. The Konftel 300IP also integrates easily with the customer company’s corporate directory. This compatibility is a small step in the right direction—eventually, combining the two companies’ products completely will give users many more features. For now, though, users have the ability to easily enter conferencing sessions—which can hold a good amount of people—without having to worry about connectivity problems.

I think it’s safe to say, so far, so good.
